Hi all,

After the puzzling sensor issue was solved we now have the following fault showing intermittently -

VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N
Chassis Type: 8Z - Audi A2
Scan: 01,02,03,08,09,15,16,17,36,37,45,46,55,56,76

Address 01 -------------------------------------------------------
Controller: 036 906 013 F
Component: MED7.5.11 4628
Coding: 00051
Shop #: WSC 02138
WAUZZZ8Z43N012998 AUZ7Z0B2195636
1 Fault Found:
[17439 - Manifold Change-Over Valve (N136): Setpoint Not Reached
P1031 - 35-00 - -
Readiness: 1000 0000

The car does seem a little down on power and we get a bit of a rattle when pulling away where you seem to have to give it some to get the required power pullingo ut of junctions etc.

Anyone got any ideas on a fix - parts required, cost!!!!! etc

cheers

Sorry should have searched before posting! Seems to be quite common for the FSI with a range of fixes and prices for fixes!

If anyone has an update I would be grateful - off to my local garage for their views on it tomorrow morning.

cheers

First thing to try is a throttle body alignment (if your version of VCDS allows it). Apart from this, it's a manifold cleaning job and inspection really.

Cheers,

Mike

Thanks Mike - realignment worked for a short while so now keen to give it a clean - any idea where I can find an 'idiots' guide?

If not my local garage have said that they are willing to show me the way if I want to have a go myself.
