Getting early Audi Chorus out of safe mode?

The low miler is being picked up tomorrow by @Mbzpar and I’ve just been checking a few things before he comes down.

I just realised that I’d never tried putting the radio on. I had to charge the battery when it first arrived and it’s put the radio into safe mode.

On the later concert it’s just a matter of pressing RDS and FM2 at the same time.

Any ideas how you can enter the code on the early chorus?

Help much appreciated, preferably before tomorrow

Hi Steve, I believe when it displays SAFE you press and hold the TP and RDS buttons the display then changes to 1000. The code is then entered by pressing button 1 the same number of times as the first digit, then using button 2 press that the same number of times as the second digit and so on for button 3 and button 4. Press and hold TP and RDS again together to exit the code screen as a radio station starts playing.

Edit It may be TP and AS buttons.
