Headlamp bulb replacement

Maybe a dumb question but how do you replace then main headlamp bulb? I've removed the outer cover but I can't seem to get the bulb out, is there a nack to it?
 
Once you get the knack and if you have the hands of a child, then bulb changes can be done in situ.

However, that guide tells you all you need to know - careful you don't touch the glass on the new bulb though.
