Heater buttons damaged

I think this is a comman part of the wear and tear on A2 and its the heater/control buttons and the plastic coating on them.

ie;the - and + area on the button the plastic coating come away when you have a wife with long finger nail chipping away at it

Can they be replaced with ease or will it just cost to much money?

Easiest thing to do is get a completely new heater control unit. Not exactly a cheap option though unless you can find an undamaged one from a breaker's yard...

Yes i see what your saying ,but it would be nice to be able to pop the buttons out and pop new ones in.

I wish it was as easy as that .
