Ciao, Anto. Welcome to A2OC.
My sister and I climbed Corno Grande, the highest peak of Abruzzo, in the winter of 2019. I still think about this ascent regularly, but have not visited Abruzzo again since. I think it must be one of the most beautiful areas 'down the leg' of Italy. One day, I will also visit Majella, which must be fairly local to you.
