So old story, traded my old 55 Mondeo for a nice Silver Y plate 1.4 for the missus to learn in, She said the Ford was too big.
High mileage of 164k, but FULL service and a whole tone of recent bills, including very recent rubber all round.
It's clearly been well looked after in it's life, bit of wear here and there, but all in all quite impressed.
A couple of niggles that need attention.
Passenger window doesn't work.
I pulled the card and found it wasn't connected, but now just clicks when it's operated.
My guess is dead motor. Just looking around for a new one.
Other major niggle is the sunroof not working, which is the reason I arrived here in the first place. Seems to be a very common problem.
On operating the switch it gives a rapid click, click, click sound and no movement.
So maybe broken cable.
Any help would be appreciated.
Slightly surprised to find a complete lack of Haynes manual as I find these very useful indeed.
I was going to give it a through colour restore as it's a little tied in places, but the rain said otherwise.
No matter that'll be a job for another day, probably when I do my own Mondeo ST Estate
Anyways, Hi there and be good to get this little run around fixed up, not least to keep the wife happy...
