I've found the tool and it actually began to open the roof, but after like half an inch it stopped and then just "clicked" like the fuel cap during over turn. It closed smoothly though, which is good as I didnt wanna end up with an open top. Tried again a few more times, just goes up a bit, then clickes a few times and when turning opposite way it goes back to normally to closed position. If you come up to London, just come to our place and we'll drive you to the train station (or wherever you want to go) and the car will have a replacement roof in three hours. Its 30mins to Waterloo on the train from Staines.
We can remove the blind no problem, the roof needs to be open for that. However, bear in mind that the blind frame holds the roof lining up and it may sag if removed.
I'd like to sort it out when I go to London, so I send a PM when it's all good. Thanks
