How do i disable the brake pad warning light with VCDS?

Hi,

How do i disable the brake pad warning light with VCDS?

What coding do i use in the instrument cluster?
Also will this only disable specifically the brake pad warning?
Not the brake fluid level or anything else?

Why do you want to disable it? Surely it would be better to work out why it's going off in the first place - eg. are your brake pads low?!

Hi dan_b,
I want to disable it because when the pads were replaced the sensor wire was broken. I regularly check the pads visually and don't need the sensor.

There is no way to disable this using vcds.
Easiest way is to connect the brake pad sensor wires together

Thank you Spike, I have joined the two sensor wires and the warning on the DIS has gone.

dan_b, I will replace the sensor wire the next time i replace the pads. As you've pointed out it's better to have things function as Audi intended them to.
