How do I use Vag-Com?

I've got my repaired CCU back from Lau but need to code my keys, make central locking, electric windows and interior lights work. I've got version 3.11 shareware and a cheapy eBay cable (I know, but I can't afford anything more).

The question is, how to I use the software? I've linked it to the car and it seems all to be working, I just don't know what to do with it now.

Hi Dom,

Unfortunately I cannot help you out with the VAGcom,
just wanted to compliment you on the artwork. Especially
the "widescreen" painting of the Spitfire!
I'm sure someone here can help you with VAGcom.

first connect

then select the module you want to talk to
then select the blocks you want to set.

Did you find links to posts containing the settings you need?

Thank you very much for the kind comments about my paintings, I'm very pleased you like them. The Spitfire one you mention was actually my first ever oil painting, (some years ago now).

ok, I need to know what settings I need to make the following work:

1 Central Locking

2 Electric Windows

3 Interior Lights

Think that'll do it...any takers?
