Thanks Jeff,
I've arranged to return the 8Z0 825 235 E to Blackburn Audi in the morning and they've now ordered a 8Z0 825 235 F for me, which I can collect at 9.00 am on Thursday so that I can get it fitted that day as originally arranged. That wasn't annoying at all compared with my earlier experiences!
Cheers,
Jeff
Jeff,
You may want to speak with the parts guys at Blackburn Audi and ask if they can source the Webasto exhaust pipe-to-undertray fitment and the 3 bolts that secure it. I've attached a PDF that shows the Webasto, and the 3 bolts are item No.7, but unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a part No. for the fitment itself.
If you're unsure where the fitment lives on the undertray, if you look at the petrol undertray you've got, you'll see the round imprint towards front right.
The bolts fit from underneath the undertray.
It might be worth pulling the bonnet off and checking if:
a. the exhaust pipe is present (it's a corrugated pipe that'll be hanging loose on the drivers side).
b. the fitment is sitting on the end of the exhaust pipe (circular fitment with angled solid pipe that accepts the corrugated exhaust pipe).
It's also worth making sure you've got all new fixings for the undertray (hex bolts and speed nuts and 2 M6 nuts), as these aren't usually supplied with the undertray, and possibly the reason it became detatched.
Hope this helps
Jeff
