how much should I pay for a 90,000k service?

HI FOLKS

Can't remember how much I paid for my last service, as I had the cambelt done at the same time, does anyone know what the going rate is for a VSI service on a 1.4TDi?

Cheers ears

60,000

Hi
for a cambelt i was quoted £745 for the 60,000 service but it ended up a round £545
its now done 70,300 miles
I:eek: would be interested so I can prepare for the bill next time!

how much etc.

Bye Bye Alfa, I am sure that somewhere in the Audi dealers handbook is the instruction "Do not ring the customer back". My dealer has NEVER rung me back, when I ring they are always "busy on another line", so I walk round there(it's not far) they are not busy on another line, they are chatting to their friends on the forecourt. It really P***es me off. I love my A2 but it is extremely unlikely that my next car (a big one to tow the caravan) will be an Audi, lovely cars, not so lovely dealers.
I'm still smarting from the cost of my first service,(some time ago now) change the oil and filter, kick a tyre or two 357 quid please, or to put it another way almost one month state pension. Or even another way 9 weeks of 'er indoors pension!!
I'm becoming a grumpy old man (but not when I have the Volvo serviced by and independant specialist).

well now you know why all these dealers have coffee machines for thier customers they think a free cup of coffee keeps us happy. I have vowed never to go back to my Audi dealer but stick to the local VW garage get a much better service and a free coffeee to boot.

Audi dealers are the main reason we now only have one Audi - the A2. If this had to be serviced every year, I doubt we'd still have it.

I think they are incompetent, irritating and outrageously expensive.

how much...

I suppose criticisms such as these are why Corporate Audi don't like us. fair criticism can only help a company. Such a pity. I use the local VW dealer, very helpful, first class service, a bit cheaper, same parent company, so different, why?

hi all

I too will be using a VW dealer or Skoda.

Two different dealers have quoted my £180. I finally got through to Audi, who quote a nice fat £310! Make your own mind up.
Another audi dealer said they had no menu servicing, as each long life audi is different... hmmm... "say it to the hand..." I thought.
