I renewed mine a few weeks ago with an Ali Express one, £3.06 delivered. The eye end seemed quite stiff but a minute in some boiling water and had it slip on easily. I don't have OCD (that I'm aware of) but your right its just one of those niggling things. Only took me a year to get round to it.
