A 1.4 petrol 2002 with 80 000 miles. A problem with starting never from cold always when warm, but its intermittent. Did it three times yesterday, turn ignition barely fires and just runs, press accelerator to the floor and after 15 to 20 secs picks up and runs perfectly. Have had new front oxygen censor and fuel relay fitted and new spark plugs. Regular service since new. It goes to a VAG specialist garage for the last 8 years not main dealer. Had car from new this problem started about 4 years ago and is now getting more frequent. Also had the throttle body cleaned.
