Hi all,
I recently bought a 2003 96k A2 Sport FSi. It has a few little niggles that I will be sorting out over time but the main one is the DEF code displayed on the instrument cluster but it seems to be working fine including the DIS functions.
The VCDS scan indicates a permanent 65535 Internal Control Module Memory Error which I understand to mean the unit is toast and cannot be repaired due to a possible over voltage.
Does anyone have any experience of recoding a replacement used unit and correcting the mileage?
Many thanks.
