Is it possible to get the larger tank retrofitted?

I only ask because I have to fill up twice a week, I get on average 3.5 days of trips to work and back a week out of the 34 litre tank.

How nice it would be to be able to just fill up at a weekend, and get an extra 10 minutes in bed twice a week. Maybe the missus would also enjoy it [}:)]

Just wondering...

Suffolk is more dangerous than you think...

I have considered carrying a 5 litre spare tank of petrol and running as close to the empty as I dare all the time. I have already manageed to get 34 litres into the tank on 1 occasion, must have been very close to running dry, this is obviously not an option on the oil burner.

I don't reckon ehe new tank is big enough to be worth the cost of changing, even if it could be done

I have posed this question before to companies like AmD and ABT (the two on the first page of the A2OC site). It doesn't look likely that it's possible...sadly. I agree it would really make the most of having such an economical TDi engine.
