Is there a site problem

Site very slow to take replies to posts. Bar flashing on top line and the three vertical bars strobing. When it does take the screen you have just typed in does not clear and you only know it has taken due to the more posts message pops up. Think @ben perhaps needs to be informed about this.

Think there might be a problem. Only some images are loading when I view a post, if I refresh the page different images load. It's not like the page is timing out as it finishes loading quite fast, it seems more like it just can't find the files to load.

Posting doesn't seem to be completing correctly either, even without images. It looks like it does actually post the content, but doesn't refresh the page properly at the end of the process.

Well done to all involved in fixing the site! Working in IT, I know what a nightmare it is when things go down unexpectedly and you're expected to fix it immediately. Good work!

Something is very wrong. During the last two evenings I have not been able to access the site at all, it just hangs on loading. Works fine in the in the day time which is strange.

Hi folks. There's definitely been an issue with the site. We haven't spoken with Ben who runs this for all of us. I'll email him today to find out any information that is worthy of sharing. It's testimony to a great club that people get concerned if they cannot log on ??
May I remind everyone that there are several A2 related facebook pages out there. The only one linked to this website is Audi A2 Owners Club - A2OC

If there has been some hacking going on (which there seems to be a lot of at the moment) then there wouldn't have been any notice. In defense of Ben, it's a really challenging time for Web Admins at the moment, as seemingly EVERYBODY is online, and nefarious people with nothing better to do seem to take great delight in wrecking other people's hard work.

I personally have had to resurrect two mental health charity websites that were hacked last week, filled with vicious bile for nothing other than sport. No ransomware, no virus. Just pain, and extra costs* for the charities who are struggling enough during these times as it is.

*The extra costs are for beefed up security on the back ends.

Very much doubt it’s due to hacking most likely due to running out of space and the database going offline or something along these lines.

We are on it folks. Or should I say Ben is on it. As was suggested earlier on the thread it's a space issue. It's being resolved and an upgrade arranged. Sorry for the interruption to everyone's A2 fix. ???
