Issue using iPad

Just lately when using my iPad to reply to threads, the keyboard pops up and hides the text of the reply. This never used to happen but now I cannot see what I’m writing, even if I move the text up into view when I touch the keyboard the text moves back down on its own out of view.
It’s quite annoying resulting in me not taking part in threads that I can offer help.

Can this be sorted? Or maybe it’s something I’m doing wrong.

I’m not sure it is an A2OC issue. I use an iPad and it’s not something I’ve had occur.
Does your iPad have the split keyboard set to on?
Settings > General > keyboard

I don’t seem to have that option, I use many other forums without this issue.

I mainly use an IPad and it is fine writing this but it is old iPad 2 and I am constrained to use iOS 9.5.3.

If it has been okay before then most odd but there was a forum software update last Sunday.

Edit. Ian, if you go back (hit <keyboard in blue) one step from your picture you will see the split keyboard option.
Mine is on like all the other options.

Yes it looks like you have gone
Settings > general > keyboard and then keyboard again
Going settings > general > keyboard you should see as per the pic.

What iPad are you using and what version of iPad Software?

I have now unticked the split keyboard option as in the picture, it’s made no difference. I’m using an iPad 2 mini IOS 11.1.2

Maybe that is the difference. Mine is also an iPad mini 2 but I have version 11.3 installed.

Apart from upgrading to the latest s/w for apple, I don't know what else to suggest @ben any ideas why Dec 2017 version of iOS gives a keyboard issue on A2OC?

So I’ve just upgraded to 11.3.2 and the problem seems to be solved. Happy days.
