To replace fuel filter on 2002 diesel model as follows.
Jack up rear of car and fit axle stands.
Locatation at front of rear nearside wheel.
Remove 10mm and 13mm securing bolts,gently push heat sheild aside and lower filter.Remove housing clamp..10mm nut,Remove flexable fuel hoses by squeezing with pliers the securing clamps and push along hoses.
Remove spilt pin from center housing and gently prise up and withdraw the center housing from filter.No need to remove the two hoses.
Fit new filter...fit center housing by applying a gentle tap to fit and secure the split pin.Refit the other two hoses,fit securing clamp and fit to bodywork.
Car self bleeds and should start with a couple of turns.
