Key fob battery

I've had my A2 since the beginning of May and the battery in the keyfob has already gone flat, so I went this morning (Sunday) to my local Audi dealer (Hartwell Warrington) to get it changed and they told me they couldn't because they were locked up and didn't have the key to where they were kept. I see after service if as crap as ever with Audi. A battery going so quick is bad enough without that. Hope my spare fob battery doesn't go before I can get it changed.

Sould be available anywhere, Dixons etc.. I get mine from www.watchbattery.co.uk normally arrive next day (but theres a strike). I don't know the batt no. but look and see. When mine apparently failed it was the ECU (guarantee job)
