Kimbolton Country Fayre-in Cambridshire.

Weather here at the moment is not great its very overcast and grey and drizzling lightly, it looks like its getting ready to drop its load at any moment!

Sorry guys, couldnt make it

Had to collect the wife at 2.30am after returning from a UB40 concert in London.

If the weather brightens up, i may drive down later.

Have a great day!

Was good to meet you all. Shame about the down pour but it soon brightened up. Thanks to crazylegs for explaining why the Audi badge is like it is and Timmus for telling me things about my A2 that I never knew like my A2 is a 2002 52 plate with the 2003 spec and that I have the larger fuel tank and he also enabled my car to beep if the doors are not closed properly :) also for making my spec list a little bit longer :) I'm slowly catching Steve up.

Was also good to see alot of very nice looking A2s.

Roll on AITP.....

Really great to put more names to faces and I think I spoke to everyone this time..Redbull was a revelation
Many thanks to Tom Timmus for using VCDS and enabling the doors closed locking beep on my A2, what a bonus, also for explaining the Chassis model number in the front windscreen and the numbers meanings.

Had it not been for the hour long downpour it would have been a perfect day as when the sun came out it was glorious, some fantastic cars there including a few E types that were stunning and couple of MGA's you could eat your dinner off the engine bays, some really great owners also willing to chat freely about there classics and show documentation which I really appreciated..Definitely looking forward to going back there if the club goes again next year..

Loved the story Sumo told about the reason Renault built the Clio 3 litre :D

Another fantastic day .. once again big thanks to mike and vonnie for getting us involved in this one .. the venue was fantastic and great to see a few new faces within the club .. thanks to mr B for the laugh listening to the honda call ... some fantastic cars on view ... thanks to all that came ... some really great looking cars in the club and a real asset to their owners ... this club goes from strength to strength .. really looking forward to the next meet up at Aitp 7 ... hopefully be a good turnout .. if you havent got your name down yet .. why not ? ...be great to beat last years number ... again thanks to all.. zipnjeff

It was once again a great day. Thanks to Mike for sorting the pitch. Good to go back after a few years break.

Chris (Liz and Alexander)

Thanks everyone for coming along and making yet another great social. It was a shame that we had the hour or so of rain, but the weather both before and afterwards was enough to make up for it.

Great to see some new faces. Hope to see you all at AITP7 next month.

What a great weekend---The hotel at the race course(holiday inn) was excellent so saturday afternoon and evening was spent drinking pimms by the jug in the sun. The day of the show we awoke to wet cars but it was warm. Slight detour to the kimbolton show ground (nothing new i hear you say) but that just meant the early birds put the gazebo up:D. The day was nice and warm with good showing of blue sky that showed the cars off excellently - there was some fantastic cars and i would think the 900 show cars they were expecting was smashed ! It was great to see some old cars from the past and some exotics i had forgotten about. There was some excellent tiny caravans with such innovative space saving multi purpose design features.
The rain did come and was heavy for an hour or so but then it was all sunny allowing us to clean the cars down and put everything away all dry. Nice to see some new members on the stand and sounds like they are keen for AITP in a few weeks time.
I took a few pics but only on my phone but will post them tomorrow as the sun and fun has caught up with me and I'm off to bed--so once again THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING AND MAKING THE A2OC SOCIALS SPECIAL. Cheers mike and yvonne
