LED's causing mayhem!!

I've fitted some LED bulbs to replace my standard tail/stop bulbs.
They look fantastic but now whenever I press the brake pedal the dials illuminate as if I've turned the lights on???

If I press the brake pedal when the ignition s off and the key is out all the dashboard illuminates too.

I really want to keep the LED's but is there anyway I can clear this fault?

You could try resistor ballasts, but to be frank, I'd remove them immediately:

The A2 tail light assemblies are NOT designed to take LED bulbs and they won't be as visible as a standard filament unit.

Also, in the event of any accident, you'd probably be uninsured after the police/insurers inspect the car.

I've modded my car to within an inch of its life, but this is something I'd not contemplate, as it's really not suitable or safe.
