Welcome back Tom! I hope you weren’t anywhere near Glasgow or I’m gutted I missed you.
Glad it all worked out for you.Hello people of A2OC!
I'm back! I had an incredible adventure in the tropics and shall post some photos as soon as I've had a chance to sort through them.
I actually landed back in the UK a couple of weeks ago, but was almost immediately on another trip to Scotland. I am now home for a week and then working in London for a while.
I've just completed another round of Colour DIS installations for our members in the extreme north. This means only three from the original order remain. You know who you are and you're high on my priority list.
I hope everyone's well,
Tom
I can confirm that the lesser-spotted-timmus was fleetingly spotted in unusually northern climes a few days ago. A straightforward cruise retrofit at mine inbetween way more complex and adventurous projects by the sounds of thing. Not quite doing it with a blindfold on, but it was pretty dark and I was constantly doing my best at trying to distract him with chat. Highly recommended by someone who is very picky about who touches their A2!
I would expect so in the daylight without my constant distraction. I must be a nightmare to sit beside at work, but am not going to ask my boss to confirm ?
Did he manage to do it in less than an hour?
I’ll forgive you... but you missed out on a good brew.
Welcome back Tom, pics as soon as you can please.
I hope they treated you well? Did they treat you to some Casava, Gari Gari with fish soup, Plantene and did you sample the delights of the pealed road side oranges? I have fantastic memories of my 2 1/2 years in Nigeria, wouldn't have missed it for the world.
Thanks Mark. I'm on it, but I know work is going to get in the way for a good few weeks; the photos are still on the cameras.
Both when I was working and on holiday, everyone was certainly very friendly. I also sampled plenty of the local food, though not much of your list can be found in the countries I visited. I'd happily visit Nigeria, though.
