My new ride!

Hi all,
Just thought I'd introduce my new 1.6FSI SE!
Really pleased with it so far and although it's the same colour combo as my previous TDI it's a totally different ride as not having a FSI before, and oh so quiet, I have to keep checking Rev counter to make sure it's still running!!
Within two hours of buying it cruise was fitted (Thanks Timmus) great addition for anyone thinking about it!
Will post some more pics in coming weeks, and looking forward to cruise up to A2 Cars open day!

Nice! What are your thoughts on the fsi compared to the tdi?

Ive owned a few different A2's, but like to hear other peoples thoughts on changing over. :)
 
I think it's great, as you know it's a bit weird not having the boost from the turbo but altogether really smooth through the gears and I guess a bit more pleasurable around town, it's hard to determine between the two as they are both superb, would dearly like to keep both really but havent room to be fair, early days yet but cruised home from oop north Saturday effortlessly! One happy a2er
 
Yes, i agree they are both great cars.

I would also like to own one of each, if it was viable. They both have their good and bad points too, so a very even match imo.

If only we could have a quiet, slick geared tdi90 then i think that would be the perfect A2 to own!
 
Yes definitely! Never driven a 90! But would like to try one out to compare, I've not given the FSI a blast yet as I'm pampering it lol! But in saying that it just keeps going up the revs without effort! I must admit I felt it may possibly benefit from a 6th gear but not sure if this has been done on a fsi before?
