Hello all,new a2 owner here,liked them since they came out looked around for a low miler found one with 62k a few scuffs but generally tidy compared to some out there.but already got a problem with rear hatch not opening,
Tried pulling on cord still not opening any ideas thanks mark.
 
Hi Mark welcome to the club. Take off the inner boot panel. You should still be able to pull it off with the boot shut as its only clipped on. Once thats removed you will be able to see yhe boot lock mechanism and open it manually.
 
Thx for reply steve,i do like the new old car,reminds me of the little swift gti.will take off trim tomorrow and have alook at linkage as i can hear the solenoid,i will save number has you do spares,thx.mark.
