New windscreen fitted now can't fit scuttle panel

As title really just had new oe windscreen fitted and struggling to fit scuttle panel back on.
Any pointers to refitting? ?
 
Make sure the lip on the scuttle panel where it pushes in is nice and clean, lubricate the retainer on the bottom of windscreen and push in with fingers. Be careful not to damage glass or scuttle panel. May also help having the panel in your house for a few hours to warm up as the plastic can go even more brittle if kept outside in this cold weather. If it won't go back then a new one should fit easier.
 
forgot about this, turns out the glass fitter forgot to remove a metal strip in the bottom of the windscreen :rolleyes:
when it was removed it went in no problem :cool:
