That sensor is also the second lambda sensor, does ProBoost ignore that too? You’re spot on Mac, it’s definitely an aftermarket cat, but it does appear to be mounted back to front. The sensor should indeed be at the other side.
Sportygru now has a ProBoost fitted, so it doesn’t really matter anyway as this sensor signal is disabled.
I can only say that members have disconnected the probe at the controller completely and it hasn't thrown an eml, affected the way the car drives or stopped it from passing an MOT.That sensor is also the second lambda sensor, does ProBoost ignore that too?
Mac.
So the second cat is unmonitored with ProBoost. I guess you'd know it was duff at the next MoT.I can only say that members have disconnected the probe at the controller completely and it hasn't thrown an eml, affected the way the car drives or stopped it from passing an MOT.
And do cats even work when the flow is back to front? So the second cat is unmonitored with ProBoost. I guess you'd know it was duff at the next MoT.
