Information Odd sounds from the stereo...when off.

Powered down my stereo this morning whilst the car was still driving and heard what sounded like a series of clicks or similar powering/winding down.

Any ideas what that could be at all?

Does it have a CD changer built in? - Symphony II etc? Or is their a CD changer in the glove box? Mine makes similar noises, its just the unit sorting out it's 'stack'.
