Opensky repair cost

Has anyone suggested to Audi that this is a design fault and that the vehicles require a recall?

I think audi know about the problem as mike (skipton01) has mentioned it to director of audi, but I dont think audi know how to fix it themselves, if im remember right. Another company designed the opensky

How many hours labour does it take to fit the repair kit? and I can use someone like stealth to do the job or have to go to audi, and which dealers have the equipment... ?

even after meticulous care, mine has begun to crab badly and motor cruches upon opening and closing

Have you read posts 17 and 18 of this thread. The attachment which details the repair procedure is in German but the pictures show what's involved

thanks spike, seen the posts 17 and 18, and this has helped, but wondered if anyone had ventured to have it done in UK, if so what was total cost, was it successful etc.
