P0106 code EPC light on and Engine Management light

Hi

For the past 6 months my EPC light and engine management light has been constantly on. I gave it a scan using Bosch Diagnostics tool and another code scanner and a p0106 code appears. I changed the oxygen sensor ( £150 which was advised but probably didn't need to ) and also have changed the Maf sensor £55 ( thought that would of sorted the issue out) from audi but both lights are still coming on.I must say since i have change the Maf sensor both lights are now intermittent and not constantly on as prior to the change.

For example one day i can drive for 2-3 miles without the light coming on , where on another day the light will come on straight away.

Any Ideas or help would be greatly appreciated

What engine do you have?

According to the RossTech Wiki of VAG error codes, P0106 relates to a manifold pressure sensor fault. Do you get any other symptoms, like dodgy idle?

No none at all...the car seems to drive fine. Also since i change the Maf sensor,when i drive for about 5 minutes from cold the lights will turn on after 30secs... then after say 10 minutes if i switch the ignition on and off at a traffic light the EPC light will switch off but management light will stay on.
