So I had to add a 2nd A2 to go alongside Bo as my other half was putting too many miles on it for my liking!
Lovely little 2003 53 light silver 1.4tdi 75 sport which I recently collected from down south before lockdown. It drove fine but needs fettling to bring it up to a standard I’m happy with.

I visited lytham to see Paul @depronman to have some of his fine bits, engine fettle, drain screw, etc and it’s now due to go in for cam belt, pump and cast lower arms.

I’m resisting any spec changes other than fog lights, with an auto light switch for now as it owes me so little I’d like to keep it that way as much as I can!

Like your 2nd one this will be my mrs car.
It drives lovely with the extra power like Bo, and is very clean for what I paid.

Seats were a bit wet, so look a bit weird in the images, but have cleaned up really well, next stop wom for some tlc

Collected from Wom after having cast arms, cam belt, water pump and aux belt done! Drives so much better with the new arms, feels much more secure and solid on the road. Somehow seems quieter also, not sure if that is actually the case though. New wheels are now fitted, a lovely set of A1 alloys, thanks to all for the advice on alloy/tyre size, 15” with 185/60 tyres. Pictures to follow as soon as I can get a quick clean done.

Those wheels really bring the look of your car up to date in my opinion. They also look bigger than 15", so a net win all round I'd say.

Thanks, I think it’s the tyre size that helps ?
185/60 seems bang on right size to me and the drive is lovely.

No mate
Another blue set, same as the ones in Bo. They always look different under artificial light, will take another couple outdoors when I can.
