Project peperami - (A2Steve)

Ive used tinting spray way back in the 90's on a mk 2 golf .

To achieve a gloss finish with the spray i removed the lights , degreased, and dried.

Heat the unit up with a hairdrier and apply light coats .
Keep appling heat in between coats.
Repeat until the desired tint is achieved . It's important that the units are kept warm while doing this

....hey presto ! Nice glossy finish ....

It can also be removed with acetone if all goes wrong

It worked for me ..

It stopped raining in Wales today long enough to give her a quick wash and polish. Looking forward to some spring sun.

I think the A2 is one of the cars that can look totally different depending on the colour. I know that all cars look different in colours but it seems exaggerated to me in the A2. We have Castle Red, but my favourite colour is Yellow/orange but you don't see many about.

The rims are OEM? What is the name/part number and tyres dimensions?

Always found 18 inch to be too big for A2 in particular at the rear, but your car really looks good

Just a heads up advance notice that Project pepperami will be going up for sale this weekend once i've taken some better photos of the interior and documented all of the receipts. Looking to take a cheaper A2 in part ex until I decide whats happening next.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,
My I register my interest in this masterpiece when it's up for sale!

Cheers
Mike

If only Peperami were a petrol I'd be waving large wads of cash in Steve's direction. Sadly, in London a diesel isn't a practical proposition thanks to Citizen Kahn.
