I removed the aftermarket headunit and fitted a nice Concert II supplied by @Clackers Thanks pal ;)

At the end of last week I finally got my kit back from the paintshop, I need to get the car into the drive, get it up on axle stands, wheels off and get the rest fitted but in my excitement I stuck the boot spoiler on ?

You did well with that stereo pal, almost new! Car coming together nicely now.
 
Well luckily for me the gods decided Sunday would be a really nice day so I made hay while the sun shone and got the kit fitted to the 90 in a day. I'd booked the week off work to get it done but I won't be telling my boss I had it done before Monday ?

Ride height is perfect. A really nice car. PERSONALLY I like a bit of chrome as seen on my car but I have no objections at all to this wonderful example.
You know what the finishing touch to me is? The red and black badge on the rear door(s).

I'll happily take that approval thank you ;) I still think the front's sitting a touch high compared to the rear tho
 
You certainly do not need my approval! No leave the car it will settle a little then gradually sag with age..

Remember due to the shape of the front arch it does have a bigger gap than the rear to allow for suspension movement when the wheels are steering left or right. The bench mark is the side rubbing strips, if they are parallel to the ground then the ride is level. Do not want to post my car on your thread to show you what I mean.
 
Shucks guys, you're making me blush ? That's the original suspension so that's it settled where it sits :rolleyes:

Morning Iain,

If you’re after lowering this great looking A2 without spending a vast amount then I might possibly be able to help.

Still sat in the box are the Coilovers that Steve removed from Black Beauty. Not had a need to fit them yet. Pretty certain I only paid £95 plus delivery but searching now to confirm.

If you wanted them I would let them go and get another set in the future when the requirement arises.

Let me know your thoughts whilst I continue to search For the advertisement for them.

Edit: Couldn’t find anything here on the Clubs pages but found the conversation with Steve on WhatsApp. I paid £95 delivered. If youre interested then I’ll send you pictures later on.
