I think I remember seeing a quickshift kit for VAG cars in the Demon Tweeks catalogue a couple of weeks ago. It appeared to be the cast alloy linkage thing with the counterweight/quadrant/whatever on the back. Is there one of these available for our A2s? It would be nice to reduce the gear shift throw a little.

I've not seen a quickshift marketed specifically at the A2 - don't know enough of the technical details to know if another VAG kit would do the trick. I remember on my old S2 someone made their own quickshift kit using the components from a VW Golf, so it's more than likely do-able.
