Just what I was going say.Early Leaf batteries are reknowned for degradation. It might make sense to upgrade to better battery technology and greater capacity:
RAB
Early Japan-built Leafs had comparatively simple battery tech reflective of development from 1.25 decades ago and not a great guide to how fully managed batteries will perform in the future.
Of course when that future arrives the current crop of batteries will also be obsolete.
Against that, personal P.C. sales levelled off when people realised that irrespective of later developments, their existing P.C. did all they needed. Ergo, whether we have a 100 or 1000 mile range is completely irrelevant to my Mum who will only drive max 25 miles each way anyway. E.g. the current crop is already beyond her needs.
