Noticed that some A2s (2003 on???) have the Audi badge on the rear hatch. Is this self-adhesive or does it fit in holes already drilled in the hatch?
If it's the former I'll get one.
Thanks
Mark

I think that all A2's have the four rings (to rule them all) on the back. In fact all Audi's have them. I know one A4 without and that was by request. My guess is that it's glued on.

All the letters are glued. I am still driving a 14 litre Diesel since my '.' fell off some time ago.

I've obviously been conned out of a badge by the dealer. Will get my team of international lawyers on to the case right away. Thanks

It is stuck on the car with double sided tape... easy to remove after you have warmed it with a hair dryer... I took my 1,4 badges off completely. So now my car only says A2 on the left and TDI on the right... that scares unsuspecting cars even more as they have no idea it is only a 1,4!!

Johann, you have just given me a great idea, might be getting the hairdryer out on the back of my other halfs 2.7 Allroad! Now that would scare even the suspecting driver!

I'm sure he wouldn't find the 1.4 on his amusing in the slightest
