Recode climate unit

Hi guys anybody know if this is possible to do using vag-com and is there any info on how it is done? I've just bought a nice new unit so i need to know how to go about it. Reason being that i've scratched the old one a little when I modded the stereo.

As far as I know, you should just plug in the new unit and it will 'learn' all its settings from the car.

There are parameters that can be changed via VAG-COM, but you shouldn't need to touch them.

The only thing you might have to do manually is to change from farenheit to celsius on the display, by pressing the + and recirc. keys simultaneuosly.
