Hello,
I am hoping someone will be able to help me with the issue I am having with keys.
I bought a second hand A2 from a private seller. He gave me 2 keys, one of which had been unused, has a clean blade and the white tag still attached to it.
The key won't work. I have tried to replace the battery. I got another 3V Duracell (the original was Panasonic) but to no avail.
I have tried to resynchronise it by pressing a button and then unlocking the car manually. No joy.
In the manual, it says that this can take up to one minute. Should I leave the key in the lock for a minute or push the button for a minute?
Does anyone have any other ideas of what I could do before going to the main dealer?
