Removing ignition barrel

Need to remove the ignition barrel on my scrapper so the steering lock wont come on when moved, had a look around but cant really find any tips.
Anyone done this?

I take it you haven’t got any keys for it? The barrel alone can be removed if you have the key to turn the ignition one click I think it is and pushing a pin into a hole on the ignition to release the holding clips

Think it’s 2 clicks until these 2 holes line up on the ignition, then you will need something strong around 1mm diameter to push down the silver hole until you feel it sort of click then pull with the key and it should come our

Yes as Bluesplit says, however its not always easily drawn out so be prepared for a struggle.
