hi,
i recently installed cruise and must have not set the steering wheel dead straight, my car threw code and the dash lights came on with a ding
VAG-COM Version: Release 409.1-US
Control Module Part Number: 8Z0 907 379 C

00778 - Steering Angle Sensor (G85)
003 - Mechanical Failure
i have now got it lined up correctly again to where i had marked it but vag com will not let me reset the code, i go into abs and click on fault codes and it resets but instantly flashes up again, i have atempted the steering angle reset procedure but it lets me log in using code 40168 but will not let me into basic settings saying vag-com has to be registered.
does anyone know why it just wont let me reset ect, on the measuring banks the angle sensor is working and the values change as i move the wheel from 0.00 when wheel dead ahead.
