Buy small cars, diesels more economical, use public transport!

I have totally given up on uk public transport from here in Portsmouth to Southampton because it's a joke. Just yesterday I gave myself an extra 2 hours to get from a-b and still I was late. It should of took me 30 minutes by train.

I have previously complained about first great western and they told me not to use their trains and its not there fault every time there trains have no staff, cancelled, run out of fuel, break down constantly.

Its laughable how stupid this train company is. They can run a bus on time but not a train even though its on a straight rail. The other big train company in the south does not have this problem (south west trains).

Theres loads of complaints and was a protest and nothing was still done

Some of very funny reads

The a2's one of the most economical out their and still the insurance is more expensive than petrol. I dont have no claims bonus and its £1500 fully comp.

Why isn't diesel cars insurance cheaper?

Woah that's mighty steep patner, you should take a look around.

It's about £2000-£2500 back at my home parents address for the car because of the high risk postcode and i've looked around and the cheapest I have found is www.endsleigh.co.uk who the above quote is with.

It sounds like your a high risk driver. The A2 is in a low insurance group for all models.
Tactfully put Alex!

Seriously though, the highest rated A2 is the 1.6 FSi Sport at group 9.

The others are all either groups 5 or 6, so there does seem to be a large chunk of money being added to the premium for some mysterious reason!

Cheers,

Mike

I have only heard my driving license for 9 months and have no claims bonus and under 25...

That'll explain it then!

Well, we all have to start somewhere I suppose and at least you're starting from the top as far as your choice of car goes!

Keep a clean license and it'll soon tumble in the years to come - mine is about the £275 mark at the moment, fully comp.

Cheers,

Mike

Wow thats unbelievable my first car insurance on a Mk1 Escort Sport
was about £350 mind you a lots happened since then LOL !!!!:)

Did nt mean to affend. As hes confirmed though he is high risk and his insurance will be expensive what ever car he gets due to being under 25, little or no driving experince and no claims bonus. I payed just under £600 fully comp for my self and the mrs. im 22 been driving for nearly 5 years have a company van and a few years no claims. Mrs is 20 been driving a just over a year 1 years no claims no use of other vechile. Car is kept garaged. My first car was a 1L suzuki swift i payed £800 for the year TPFT.

It wouldn't be so high if it wasn't due to the reckless under 25's that just cause trouble. No one in my family has ever had a car and I’m the only one to learn to drive so I've never had the luxury of a car and plan to keep well within the law.
