Road Tax

I Was telling my best mate about the Road Tax going down to £35
and he said to me :
HEY before long they will be
Paying you to drive it LOL !!!!:)

Did you do any kind of SORN declaration, or just leave that part of the form blank?
 
Class A RFL - A2 1.2 TDI

Wot - no change for all the UK registered 86g/km 1.2 TDI's!

Oh well, we'll just have to keep paying ZERO RFL and putting diesel in our 34 ltr tanks every 600 or so miles!
 
Will that only apply to the diesels? Got a 2001 1.4se. If so dont let a little money come between us!:)

Your VED is £115 as it's band C if registered on or after 1/3/01 or under 1.5l if before. Costs the same as my 2.0 HDi Pug 406 Est. So my total VED for the Audi & the Pug goes down £10 to £150 (£35 + £115).

I am all for saving £15/year and thankfully I don't use the services of my local Audi dealer for repair/servicing.

However, for those that do I guess the £15 just about covers the Audi 'technician's toilet break while he is carrying out another overpriced service operation.

Keep it in perspective!!

Well, I've just committed myself to this by buying a second tax disc online :eek: (at the £35 rate).

Just printing a V14 off now, will fill that in and send it off special delivery (to make sure there's a record of it!).. fingers crossed I haven't just paid £85 for RFL :rolleyes:
 
Total VED for two cars is now £70......................cool!
£35 for the A2, £35 for the Aygo.

It'll crucify the values of second hand execs and four wheel drives when they become a couple of years old and within the reach of private motorists.
That five or six grand A8 in a few years won't look so tempting when you tot up the running costs before you even turn a wheel.
