Roof Rack - open sky

Hi the Thule guide says no roof bars available for the A2 fitted with the open sky option, tried Audi and they say no as well but note from previous posting similar A2 owners may have open sky and roof bars, is it becuase of the glass roof Audi do not recommend a roof bars can I go ahead any way do I have the relevant groves to fit?
