Rotation (back to front)

Hi,
Just wondeering what are users opinions on tyre rotation? I'd never thought about it but I now have very worn front tyres (must be replaced) and my backs have loads of grip left on them. I can only afford two new tyres.

Should I a) replace the front ones or b) replace the front ones and move them to the back?
The back are bridgestone turanza e300 and the new ones I am getting are vredestein hi trac. all are 195 55 15.

Any advice would be great.

on my type-r I always replace the fronts (they wear out fastest) and then swap them with the backs..

So you end up with the part worn rears on the front and the new ones on the back... I would only do this if the rears are in really good condition and have loads of tread on them (and I mean LOADS of tread on my Civic the rears hardy wore out at all) or would risk poor handling ..
