My kids have take over my old A2 and they had a slight mishap with it in the snow and slide sideways in to the sidewalk. It was not fast but hard enough to blow the passenger seat airbag. Only the passenger airbag was deployed.
What is the actions required for repair?
1 Replace the seat with a cpl. seat from junkyard.
2 Replace the seatbelt due to it is in locked position due to the belt tensioner?? No one was in the passenger seat when the airbag blow!
Why does it lock the seat belt from to move?
3 How to reset the control unit for airbag?
Can it be done or does it need replacement?
Is it linked with the VIN?
Can a used (that not has been in a accident) be used?
After clearing fault codes I have following data!
