GRRR... Had the service. Not too bad price wise: full service, MOT and brake fluid change for £296. (£150 for service, £40 for brake fluid, £43 for MOT plus VAT) Don't even want to know what Audi would have charged!
BUT...
The light for the brake pads is still not out! He plugged the computer in and says it is not a resetable thing via the computer. It is a simple electrical connection that makes contact at a certain point when the pad gets too thin and the light goes on. Said they had it once before where the pads where duff and the light did not want to go out. So back to Kwik-Fit to fix... (Can't go to Audi as they won't touch it as per my previous post).
The second thing is the car now says next service in 9300 miles!!!!!!!! I told him the car is on variable and the next service should be in 32000 miles. He said it was not set for long life?!!! Is he lying? Did he mess the settings and just put it to 10000 so he can get another service out of me? Do I take it back and insist he set the next service to long life variable 32000?
Also transpires that Crawley Audi never stamped my service book to say the cambelt was changed at 60000!!!! So need to find that invoice (or get them to find it on their own computers) and get the book stamped... More annoyance!
