Thought if you need work in the Surrey area this might be worth noting.
Have just had a major service on my A2 TDi at CT Cars in East Horsley,Nr. Guildford, Surrey and I think they are good value for an independant garage.
I had a full service (variable) with Cambelt (Water Pump etc.), Brake Fluid Change, Roll Bar Bushes (no knocking noises, bliss) MOT, advice on an injector issue.
The full bill with VAT came to £790.62 - I knew it wasn't going to be cheap but what would a main dealer charge for the work I had done!!
Ok their yard is in the sticks & you ain't gonna get coffee and a snug reception but I would rather their money spent on getting the work done. They do have a loan cars, they ain't flash but functional.
Ian seems to be one of the main guys and is approachable and knowledgeable.
If you do a Google search you will find their details. It would also be good to get anybody else's feedback in the area if they used them.
