Your little bird can be right as some shell stations only have super unleaded delivered my best mate is a driver shell am going to start running it to see if i can see a differance.....

This is all very enlightening and makes me wonder if the Esso equivalent to Optimax I use and the hot weather is why my engine management warning light is on.(see Servicing,Repairs etc) Does my A2 1.4 petrol use a narrow band lamda sensor? Maybe I should go back to normal petrol.
