Soft(er) suspension on 2003 models?

Hi all,

The more I drive my A2, the more I start to think that the 2003 model has had a bit too much 'comfort' tuning to the suspension.
Yes, this model brings many improvements, and ride comfort is indeed improved, but handling is, IMHO, a bit impaired now. Great for motorways, but the bodyroll while cornering is far greater than what I remember from the 2002 (or '01) petrol I had for two weeks.

Anybody else who had made the comparison?
Or anyone else who thinks his (stock, non-sport) suspension is a bit soft?
Or (yes, another 'or'!) is it just a difference between diesel and petrol?

Strange that I think this, since all I read is about people who think the A2 has great cornering abilities, or that it even has too firm suspension! While I seem to think that it's going to fall over in every corner I push it through ;)

Cheers,
