Hi. Can the space floor box be slid under front seat, so that the rear passengers still have somewhere to put their feet? Or is this box only suitable if you have kids in the back? Cheers for any advice yoy have.

No, the box is already present both below and after the front seat. It is fixed into place through some studs on the floor, so no sliding.

I have no idea what it's like for adults to sit with their feet raised, but with the box in place that's the only way to sit.

Or remove the entire box when you expect adults in the car. However, that probably involves sliding the front seat forward and putting the clunky box in the back somewhere. The only bonus then, is the fact that the box comes with such a nice carrying handle.

BTW: I do not have the space floor box on my own A2, but had one on a temp A2 I took for a holiday to France. I left the box at home...;)

It is OK for kids to sit in the back when the Spacefloor box is there, but very uncomfortable for adults... but it is a nice place to put all your stuff when you mostly drive with 2-3 Persons..

Almost impossible for adults I would think, but very useful when no back seat passengers are carried. I bought mine from Chivers at a social run and it's been a good buy.

Hello,

When the Spacefloor box is installed, the floor is as high as it is on a Merc A-class. I.e. not very suitable for adults.
However, the kids love having their own "suitcase" with toys and snacks...

We are used to the stunning seating position in the back of an A2 with people's legs low and knees where they should be... hence with a space floor box it is just "normal" again... ie as Rune suggests: akin to an A-class or Golf etc with knees next to your face! For short adult trips only... if you need more space do this:

JUST KIDDING!
