I have recently 'upgraded' my A2 to a Silver TDI SE with sports suspension, 17" wheels and lots of other goodies (thanks oliviaf ). My 2002 Azure Blue TDI SE with Alpine Sat Nav will be up for sale shortly.
After reading reports here about the sports suspension I was initially concerned that I would find the ride shocking. I am pleasantly surprised that even with the 17" wheels and 205/40 tyres, I actually find the ride a bit more agreeable. There is less 'rocking and rolling' and the car (obviously) stays more level around corners. Although the sports suspension picks up the small bumps a bit more, there is less crashing and banging over pot holes. The overall comfort level has increased. Has anyone else found the same thing or does everyone dislike the sports suspension?
